| Site updated 6/15/2008 Songwriting, recording, live performances, spaghetti dinners and $4.30 a gallon gas. Such is the lot of the indie artist. Still, it is hard to imagine a better time to be Indie. Several of Roger’s good friends have recently released albums that will not disappoint. One of those belongs to bluenumbernine who just released Let’s Find A Way. And it is becoming clearer and clearer that Roger’s album will be crossing the finish line too, with horn arrangements on some tunes by bluenumbernine members Stefanie Seskin and Marco Accattatis. Just today, more completed versions of several songs have been readied and the results will be posted to the MUSIC page this week. Live dates in the NYC/Long Island area have been booked into August as things move forward toward the completion of the new album. Then, unless opportunity knocks politely, there will be a pause in the gigging schedule as the wraps are put on the album. Make no mistake, Roger loves playing live and is looking forward to an exciting fall season. Which brings up the topic of performance opportunities. Roger seeks performance opportunities throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states in support of the album. House concert slots are highly desired, as either a supporting act or a headliner. You can help by telling your friends. Really. Word-of-mouth is the best. Suggestions for places to play are welcomed so please do not be shy about sending that e-mail: roger@rogersilverberg.com. After all, it really is all about reaching new ears. And that happens one person at a time. Don’t forget about Roger’s MySpace page (www.myspace.com/rhsilverberg). Songs, pictures, blogs, and a whole lot more there More to come. Thank you again for supporting indie singer/songwriter music. | |||||
